JJI Middleton Award
The Council of the Economic Society of South Africa is pleased to award the 2016 JJI
Middleton medal for the best first article published in the SAJE (83:4–84:3) to Albert
Touna-Mama for his paper entitled Terms of Trade Shocks and Inflation Targeting in
Emerging Market Economies (SAJE 84:1, p. 81). The article was co-authored with two
other first-time SAJE authors Seedwell Hove and Fulbert Tchana Tchana.
