The ANC members campaigning in Gelvan Park flying the Palestinian flag confuse me. Are they asking us to vote for the ANC or Palestine? Surely these ANC members should be flying the SA flag? Where exactly is their allegiance

Make it an election issue — only one wheelchair at the West End clinic for emergency patients. I thought the metropolitan areas would fare better than the rural areas, but not to be.

POLITICS TO THE RESCUE

With fear and trepidation I often need to travel the most dangerous stretch of road in the municipality, the M17. Some while ago for safety reasons they removed the robots at the bottom which nobody obeyed anyway, and replaced them with a roundabout. They realised nobody would obey that either, so they built a 1.5m wall around it and filled it up. Brilliant solution, but left the bricks dark...
