Gauteng Premier to Visit Meyiwa Family

Gauteng Premier David Makhura will today visit the family of the late Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates captain Senzo Meyiwa in Umlazi, Durban, to convey condolences on behalf of the province.

The Premier will be accompanied by the MEC for Community Safety, Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane, and Gauteng Police Commissioner General Lesetja Mothiba.

“The Gauteng Provincial Government adds its voice to those of millions others in condemning the brutal murder of Meyiwa. We urge the police to leave no stone unturned in their efforts to find the perpetrators of this violent crime and ensure that they are brought to book,” said Premier Makhura.
