Deputy Minister Pam Tshwete hands over title deeds in Matjhabeng Local Municipality, 28 May

Deputy Minister Pam Tshwete expressed her appreciation towards progress made in fast - tracking the issuing of title deeds in the Mangaung Metro Municipality. Tshwete was speaking today during the handover of more than 200 title deeds to beneficiaries in Heidedal.

'I am impressed by the cooperation between the Province and Metro Municipality in advancing the issuing of title deeds, I am happy with the interventions in dealing with bottlenecks', said Tshwete.

As a result of the interventions, Mangaung Metro Municipality amongst others aims to, handover 200 title deeds to beneficiaries monthly, embark on a weekly verification process and engage other organs of the state to help correct the wrongly registered title deeds.
